However, this post makes me hopeful that there will be room for me (and my views and experiences) at the emergent table in the future. And, by the way, I am coming to see Bill at WFUDS. How exciting is that?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15421447380225473152noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2243589248078859993.post-35527663865273006512007-02-23T13:19:00.000-08:002007-02-23T13:19:00.000-08:00As always, you cut to the heart of the issue, Trip...As always, you cut to the heart of the issue, Trippor. My biggest annoyance with the Emergent "conversation" is that much of the time someone's real, honest thoughts on an issue are presented as vague and un-offensive. If we chase a conflict-free form of Christianity we flee from the true Gospel. There just has to be enough grace in the friendship that exists for disagreements to result in maybe a little holy quaffing and less holy war. I am all about some theological ambiguity, but out of respect for the person we talk to we should speak with truthfulness and gentleness. I heart you, Trippor.Kevin Sinclairhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01107795646265280006noreply@blogger.com
